Star of K11 is an annual program of K11 since 2010, aiming at nurturing local artists by providing them the opportunities to have further development on art. The Star of K11 2011 will be presenting a solo exhibition at K11 art mall by the end of 2011, and becomes the Artist in residence of K11 throughout the year. The Star of K11 will be able to communicate with the mass and be conductive to the growth of local art in many ways.

Star of K11 will be provided with curatorial, marketing and publicity support, for carrying out an exhibition by the end of 2011. This allows the potential artist to have room to realize his or her creative ideals, and to build up his or her style of art thoroughly.

After the exhibition, Star of K11 would be joining the artist in residence program which he or she gets more chances in meeting the public. With various workshops and other art events Star of K11 is able to contribute in art education in the community.
